Had my 404sx for a while now and have really go into it for both live sets and the occasional beat now and again when i wanna get off of ableton. Only problem that I'm having at the moment, is that I can only use the Resample method - as I haven't found a way to export my 'pattern ...

Good luck bro! If you dont know how to fix/solder the volume pot, your best bet is to find an electronics store, or do what I did - where i contacted roland and they later gave me a third party roland electronics repairer number/email (since i had no warranty left for my 404).

I spoke to dibi a while back and he said that he used the both the MPC (2000xl i think), along with the 404 for effects and the vinyl sim (you can tell just from hearing it), and tons of other softwares like reason and ableton etc.

I think he chops his samples from vinyl and records them into ...
