CF Card Problem

I backed up my SP's CF card onto my computer making sure to copy it rather than cut it and since I've put the card back into the SP when I got to one of banks C-J it flashes up saying FNT like I'm trying to format it. The computer still reads the card so I hope it isn't the SP's card reader that is ...

Pattern triggering another pattern at the same time

I have a problem where when I go from for example, pattern 3 to 2 it plays pattern 1 over pattern 2. I have checked the original sample and when I record it plays just the loop I want for pattern 2 and when I play pattern 2 with pattern one or nothing else before it it plays fine, has anyone else ...

When I record a pattern it plays an empty 2 bars after

When I record a pattern it will play the pattern again after it has finished but with no samples. If I do a two bar loop it will play it back with the sample and then play two silent bars after

I've been using the SP 404 and the MPC 500 MIDI synced together, the SP for loops and the MPC for drums as it is a lot better for sequencing beats with, I got my OG 404 for 150 quid used and it's such a good set up if you can afford the extra. Really they are quite different machines but basically ...
