Sooo for example if I have a jazz sample in my roland and send it to my tascam then send It back from tascam to roland it should be normal?

Help with portastudio
I have a tascam mk2 and I'm trying to figure out how u work around the fast play back speed...do I recorded my loops into the tascam and pitch it down with my roland and then bounce it back into my sp555 or is there a better way cuz even if I do it this way my loops wouldn't be "normal" Im starting ...
