Use midi sync. But take care since sp and ableton need about 1 Bar to run perfectly in sync. So if u have for example 2 Bar Loops. Record 4 Bars and take the last 2.

For using the sp as an external fx your interface needs outs that are seperate from the Master outs. You need to take care which out you use. On a lot of interfaces Outs 1&2 are te same as the Master Outs. So if you use them you get that Feedback. Take Outs 3&4 or such... If you dont have seperate ...

Give your Kicks and bass a little more mid frequencies through es or saturation. Your laptop speakers are not able to reproduce proper low frequencies.

Dont worry man, you wont lose any of that sp grit (which btw is digital as long as you have a proper interface. As long as the Signal gets sampled with a high enough sample rate and number of bits, you wont hear any difference (every decent Interface is able to do this) between the Audio.
