where does the 606's SPDIF INPUT "top out" at???

just 44/16? or can it input higher bit-depths and sample rates???

what's the "standard" way to mutli-track the patterns you make in the 606?

for example, if i wanted to record a 606 pattern with 8 sequenced sounds into pro tools, how would that be done?

i don't want all 8 sounds to be recorded into one stereo track...i want each of the 8 sounds to have their own ...

it's okay to insert and remove the CF card when the SP 606 is on.

in other words, do i have to power off the 606 to insert or remove the memory card?

i haven't been able to find the answer to that question...

yeah...I kinda wanna pick up a MPC just to see what all the hype is about, but I am a fan of Roland products more than any other hardware company...I'd buy a MV-8000 before a MPC...even if it was a couple more hundred dollars...

i cant figure out how to import my samples that i put onto the mass storage.. any help? im trying to get samples into the roland and chop them all over the pads...

I paid $400 for mines like a year ago...

I still don't regret that price...It's a solid machine that can work in tandem flawlessly with any audio project.

I just wanted to know if any of ya'll can share some of your mastering settings...

I normally use whatever sounds good to the ear, but I would like to cross-reference that with some of ya'lls settings...

these are mine:

Split Freq: 8000Hz
In Level: +0dB

Low ...

I don't even have it connected to my computer right now...the only thing plugged into the 606 is the power cable...

i push it, and nothing happens at all...it doesn't light up, and nothing happens on the screen...

I don't know what's going on with my V-Link button...All the surrounding buttons work just fine (D-BEAM & MFX1, MFX2, etc.)...

I could have swore it used to work...

Does anybody know what the problem or fix could be???
