I was just wondering what you guys do with your samples when the beats done ? I always feel somewhat like guilty when I delete a beautiful sample to make room for new ones or think of how i could have used it better... what do you think bout this my sp-brothers (& sisters) ? keep'em or delete'em ...

for good drum samples, listen to the radio.. there are some really dope stations on the internet that only play rap/hiphop
just record that with audacity or your sp, chop and eq it..
accuoldschoolradio is dope, just to give an example, also a good lesson in rap/hiphop history ..lol

For my part I have to say Ableton is one of the best programs to be creative with. I have used it for 1 1/2 years until my pc broke a week ago..
