I am using a laptop, and also thought of unplugging it from the outlet but, the buzz remains. I am using the laptop's sound card, though I have an interface I could use if you think that'd help? Samples sound fine through the laptop..using headphones or plugging into speakers ...

love editing drums in my DAW. when i go to sample from comp. to sp however, the signal is always distorted by some nasty buzzing sound. any ideas how to clean it up??
