Thanks guys....yeah I'm still trying to figure it out....I've played with it similar to eloquant there in that video but was hoping to use longer loops so I could juggle singing and some live synths too..I guess it's just finding route through...i'll try the mark button again and use the pattern ...

Some of the loops I'm using by the way are 16 bars long, would I be better off using just short 4 bar loops?
