what is it like recording beats/loops on the tascam 424? Could you give me some insight into the process because I am seriously considering buying a tascam 424 III for mixing and beats.

Would my wires not being plugged in correctly be the reason why my peak indicator isn't lighting up?

Ok am I plugged in correctly? My mixer's (a 2-channel numark iM1) inputs are plugged into my turntable and the sp-303's output. And my mixer's output is plugged into my speakers. Is this right?
