Re: Bass Options?

Just picked up a Volca Kick and it seems to work great as a bass machine. Very deep siney basses to hard distorted basses.

Re: looking for super simple to use software.

Don't give up on Ableton yet. It's probably the best software in conjunction with your Circuit. Like anything, just spend more time with it and you will find a workflow that fits you. It's actually quite easy to learn and IMO has the fastest workflow that I've used compared to FL Studio, Reason, and ...

Re: Finger dumbing

This helps keep some of my loops tight and not always having to resample: m

It has a headphone output, but I just play through the built-in speaker while close to me. No swing function though, but i just care about the bpm. I'm sure you can use it to practice. Or save the money and just button mash ...

Re: did anyone get the OP-1 from Teenage Engineering?

There's so much you can do with the OP-1 within it's limitations like the SP.

Here's the first track I made with the machine while skratching to it. The beat is made only using the "Ahhh" sample I skratch with. All kits, synth sounds, pads made with one single "Ahh" sample and OP-1, no factory ...

Re: sp-404 or mpc 500

Mpc500 is great and has lots of features a sampler should have(mute groups, great pad response after upgrading them, midi sequencer..). You can also chop from your computer and use MPCMaid to add parameters if you feel the 500 is too fiddly on the menus. The only thing really thats dissapointing ...

wonder if the metronome of a zoom8 could sync the volcas?
i'd greatly appreciate if someone with a volca and a zoom R8 could test that - sold my R8 - want it back though... if this works, you could use the korg sq1 or any volca with midi out mod to sync your sp to the R8.... a ...

Don't have a 2500, but would love to own it one day. Got a couple MPC500 though.

Re: Electribe Sampler, Electribe M.P.S, and Volca Sample

I've actually got myself the Volca Sample the other day and it really is dope. Using the Caustic sample editor to upload samples from my Note 3 and works great. It's a full-blown sound editor that lets you even add the Caustic effects to your samples. Loving that it keeps your samples like a ...

Out of all the super talented Japanese DJs, that had to select her? Yeah, she's horrible.

I would only be interested in the PD1 if there are mute groups. I'm tired of new samplers not having this.

"XW-PD1 with its 16-pad sampler and synthesizer brings preset patterns from professional beat makers covering genres like EDM and Trap."

so its not a analog drum machine alone. and this vid you can see in the background it has what look like rca and usb connectivity.

Re: monotron's which one

To me, the Delay is pretty much the OG, but with the pitch knob on the ribbon strip(and delay effects of course). I broke my OG a while back and bought one off ebay, but was sent a Delay instead. So now I have 2 Delays.

The Duo is playable, I just don't like how it sounds. I usually just hook it ...

30+ beats made with the monotron and the monotron duo.

Been bumpin these tracks in the car. How did you make that sample in track 10, where its kinda high pitched garble.. right before the low pitched bass sound. That whole sequence sounds like a conversation ...
