Pads not showing up in 404sx WAV converter? *FIXED*
I have imported plenty of samples with this card using the WAV converter, but when I tried to import samples using another card the 'selectable' pads in the converter suddenly disappeared. I then tried to use my original card and the pads were still gone?

so what exactly is the advantage of using the 99 bar / no quantize / 40 bpm method over just making separate 2 / 4 / 8 bar sequences with no quantize and beginning each sequence when necessary?
maybe i'm understanding all of this wrong.
The advantage is it's a nice hybrid of the two. You ...

Re: Battle 1-2-3
It's been forever since i got in one of these. This sample was too raw definitely had that llama vibe to it. may get Quelle or Selfish on this beat. This was a quick microwave joint using strictly sp 404. Programed using the resample method on the sample chops for 99 bars then added mutes and ...

Re: MIC IN recording level?
UPDATE:
I ended up finding a workaround.
I bought 2 RCA to Mono 1/4" adapters. I connected the right channels of both the mixer and the 404 to one adapter, plugged that in to the right RECORD IN and did the same with the left channels. Works perfectly.
Thanks!

Re: MIC IN recording level?
The reason that I'm using the MIC IN is because I'm using the 404 as an external effects processor for the MPC 2500. The LINE IN on the 404 is taken and there's no way to sample from my turntable/mixer to the MPC because the RECORD IN 1/4" inputs are already taken on there. The only options left to ...

MIC IN recording level?
I am trying to sample through the 404's MIC IN, but I am having some volume issues.
I'm going: Turntable --> Mixer --> 404 (via MIC IN)
When I turn the 404's MIC IN volume down to 0 I can still hear low end signal from the mixer. Shouldn't all frequencies be cut when I turn the MIC IN volume all ...
