anyone know how to use the step recording mode theres nothing on it in the manual

Ya me and midi don't really get along all that well I think this may be a lost cause I've read both manuals and followed the instructions but it just doesn't wanna work for me

I don't know what happened but I can't even get it to trigger the samples on my 303 anymore it seems like it was a fluke that one time I don't really get how to set this up midi wise on the devices the manual isn't really clear to me

Could someone give me a better explanation of how they are using these two machines in sync via midi and also how to set that up I would really appreciate it I have both but I haven't really figured out how to get them working together I can trigger samples on the 303 with my 202 but I don't see how ...

303 cause thats what I got and something about it I just can't get over

I don't know what I did but I got the grooves working it still flashing "not working" really quick every time I press it but they do apply to my beats now which is what I want

Yeah everything's working I can record and such like normal but for some reason when I press the groove button it quickly flashes "not working" can't figure out why it would be doing this unless I'm doing something wrong here

Literally when I press the Groove butting and turn the dial to select one It just flashes "not working" really quickly on the LCD and when I record it doesn't apply the groove also when I go back its turned off anyone got any idea what could be going on?

I am pretty hyped about it just need to figure out how to flawlessly get the 303 and 202 working together I've just been sampling the drums out into Ableton and then into the 303 and back again which is a pretty lengthy process right now...

I just got my 202 today to go along with my 303 not sure how I am going use both together at the same time yet but once I figure it out this will be good times

I use a egg carton it works great

I think its just the whole machine itself that makes that white noise background sound not just the headphone output
