i dont think the patterns can be launched by midi.
only the samples.

Loved the MMmk2 !
sold it because i didnt like the linear way of stepsequencing.
but songmode makes it a lot more interesting.
now i want to buy it again to sequence it from Max.

I dont (want to) use a huge midicontroller, so thats why i like to use the 303 for extra hands-on control of the samples and ofcourse fx.
If i find the right controller and the perfect way to play and organize my samples i might go 100% max, but resampling, chopping etc is just way faster for me to ...

I just got two 303's and made a little MaxMSP-patch today with which samples get triggered over midi. Never did this with Max and a sampler before.
Varying the clockspeed while playing them Marks and swopping triggered samples on the ...

you hear the sound when restarting but not at the begin of the loop?

when the peaklight isnt flashing at that point; try to move the startpoint back or forth
when it is flashing; sample it again, cause the input was too hot.

i now returned the 404sx afterall and got my second 303 today

i realised i only use the 303 and use the 404sx solely for recording.
i find the 404s fx quite terrible when you know what the 303 can do.

yes, you can push on "resample" choose a pad to record on, press record and then play all the samples you want which are then recorded to the chosen pad.
no need to go to patternrecording.

I dont get that mixup, or grok means something else, cause B and F are totally different. F (404sxlofi) has so much more crackle/largerbits
303's hifi sounds so much better then 404sx's lofi imo.
Its the 2 hifi's that sound the same. imo.
