Whadddup everybody. I'm new to the forums here, and have been making beats for about a year.
I'm currently in the process of moving away from the computer based production (I used to use FL Studio with a Korg Nanopad controller).
I just got an SP-202 a couple weekends ago and have loved it so far ...

What I like it taking a nice breakbeat loop, and then setting the delay to the center point and wiggling it slightly to create a sort of Questlove-ish approach to a drum-n-bass pattern.

that's my understanding - i don't think he had the money to have anything else. i donno if level live wires or whatever are on 202, but it sounds like it.

ive yet to listen to that album, but i know he got an mpc2000 after the release of the peel sessions (2002 i believe). he might have just gone ...

do you guys know if the beattapes odd nosdam released prior to the clouddead stuff were also done on the 202? i just got myself a 202 a few days ago so ive been studying up on all the other producers out there that use them hah
