also, my aim is I guess to be able to actually produce the songs that I create in my head, to have enough knowledge about effects, mixing, the works to actually be like, "this is what I want it to sound like", and then make it sound like that.

im havin some trouble with getting the proper tempo on my sample...i have a sample that's 77 tempo, but i thought ahead and realized it might actually be like 77.something, which is why when i turn CTRL 2 up, it still reads as 154. i tested it out by playing a drum loop in FL at 77 tempo and sure ...

at 0:55 to about 1:12 he just changes the pitch and it also changes the tempo, easily without any weird feedback like i get...maybe im not doing it the way he does, i cant really tell ...
