Hey, I solved it! At least in Ableton Live, anyway...

All I did was create a MIDI Effect device to shift the pitch +1 semitone. I saved it as "SP606 Remap" and it works with all the drum kits.

Say yay! Yay!

So it can't be changed... that's lame.

I just checked... it's definitely B0, MIDI note 35, for Pad 1.

I had already found and fiddled with the octave changes, but I still end up one note lower than the preset.

Ableton has some pretty sophisticated MIDI mapping and so forth, I haven't dug into ...

Changing MIDI note out

Hello all,

First post here, so please be gentle. I picked up a SP-606 from a pawn shop in Reno, NV last weekend. I have it connected to my PC via USB. I intend to use it primarily as a MIDI controller, although I may get into sample editing on it later.
