I just want to be doublely sure before I buy a CompactFlash Card Reader for my computer....
If just put a bunch of wav files on a memory card, and plug it into my SP404, then will the wav files that I put on the card be accessible from the pads?
Probably a really simple question, but ...

The thing is bishojo, by the sound of it, what you are describing still doesn't allow for multitracking does it? I mean being able to listen to one sample at the same time as recording another.
It shouldnt make a difference whether i'm using the mic input, built in mic or line inputs, surely ...

Newbie here. Just got my 404 in the post today, very exciting! Been playing around with it all day.
One thing that I assumed it could do is to be able to overdub samples.
i.e: I have a vocal loop on pad 1 and I want to record a harmony over the top into pad 2, but I can't because ...
