hmmm theres tons man, go to KVRAUDIO.COM and search for lofi filters and all that and download theres, theres tons of free ones on there for mac, hope it all works out man!!!

hey man, ive used my 404sx with garageband for alot of my stuff, the warmer sound issue doesnt really come from which software you use but how you use it, i would suggest downloading a VST effect plugin i use in garageband called "Camel Crusher" - its basically a bitcrusher and compressor in one ...

I'd have to probably say Dimlite or Afta1, those 2 dudes make music that can't even begin to describe, they are heavily underrated and I never hear anyone ever talk about them, as for a mainstream level I would probably go with Havoc from Mobb Deep, he really in my opinion defined that grimy Queens ...
