it did have samples and they were so cheesy. I was like what the fuck and googled him to find a video of him mixing and scratching w/serato with his tables set up in his laundry room, gelled hair, armband tattoos and all. then i promptly (now sadly) deleted them.

they were all drops with hella ...

i bought a sp-404 from him (long distance via craigslist) a few years before jersey shore was made and sold it a few weeks before the show aired (d'oh, if only i'd waited and put in on e-bay!). thing smelled like axxxe body spray the whole time.

there is a free software editor and then there is one that you can pay for that has extra features. it interfaces with your computer through midi. so when you want to update it you send sysex files over midi.

i know some are samples, archangel for instance is a ray j sample.

sounds like you just need to turn the sustain and release all the way up.

any one know if you can resample the internal sounds and external at the same time like on the sp-303. for example if i had a resampled loop and i wanted to resample it with some external synth noodling on top...

did you end up getting an mpc or MV, if so I'd go with the SH-02 and just multi sample it for polyphonic stuff. plus if you hang on to it for a while its guaranteed to go up in value. you could use it for a while sample the hell out of it and then if you find something else or get tired of it, sell ...
