Hello. Anybody opened SP303? I want to get into the buttons & knobs inside section to make some cleanup but I can't take off the inner plate. Looks like the knobs are blocking the way. I hope to solve the problem with your help. Thanks.

4 years too, but I've started on computer's Reason & Cubase. After a year or two I've bought my first tappin gear Yamaha SU-10. Then deck, mixer lots of wax. Couple weeks ago I get SP 303 and workin on it Now plan to buy 2000xl and then SP 1200. Theese two will take probably next 4 years to collect

Lately, I've been concerned about buying something tape rollin like one of theese Tascams: MF-P01 or Porta02mkII portastudios. And maybe Fostex XR-3. Theese three are available in my area. They look pretty portable (not as much as that AKAI of course). Anyone used them? Any opinions?

I highly suggest You to obtain any preamp with RIAA correction for exporting Your shit from wax to computer or sampler or whatever.

'Roaches' is a kind of beats which I like the most. Fat perc + jazzy samples all waving and vibrating. Only thing I don't like is this plastic clipping of SP's vin.sim. instead of wax's dust. Anyway, it's dope beat.

And I'm sittin and look outta window for my old school U'know. Chillin with a cup of tea and dreamin' about all this records out there somewhere...
