they've got just about every manufacturer & model out there... it is in japanese, and the translation gets a little fuzzy, but those frequency response charts really ...

i ended up buying a pair of roland rh-300 after reading this review:

there are some good links in the thread to frequency response graphs.

the rh-300 aren't exactly cheap (~$200), but they sound great, look great, and are exceptionally comfortable

good stuff guys. i had a tough time splitting hairs with these... really enjoyed listening to everyone's music though. thanks for your reviews and votes (wow, fer realz?)

used both samples... sp-404 and mv-8800... did a lot of bouncing between the two... resampling w/ efx... used the mv bass synth, but otherwise it's all from the samples

did one battle a while back... figured i'd have to try and jump in for ...

considering the pads aren't velocity sensitive, it wouldn't really make all that great of a controller in any case...

the sp-555 should do it... or an mpd, trigger finger or pad kontrol if you don't need the sampling features

the sp-404 only has a midi in, meaning it can be controlled by an external device, but it cannot control one

also check out the ploytec 34one ... it's a real simple tap tempo switch ... kind of like a boss fs-5u with a midi cable...

guess it's sold out right now, but you might be able to find one on ebay or something... i was planning on buying one for my keyboard rig, but i ended up getting a kp3 and ...

it was a tough call, but i had to go with the count

felt good to get my feet wet, but it sounds like i'm gonna have to step up my game next round if i actually want to compete... you guys make some pretty killer stuff... i'll take the award for shortest entry
