OK. Thanks. I get that SPD are for Windows and I can copy them to the flash card but the 555 doesn't seem to see them...
It's the flash card isn't it ?
I've searched the web for Sandisk 2GB Ultra II and strangely, the whole world either seems to be out of stock or won't ship it out of their own ...

SPD files and library download
Hi All.
In the box with my new 555, I received a sound library on CD-ROM.
The instructions suggested that I copy the files onto CF and upload to the 555 etc.
However, there are hundreds, maybe thousands of files and they are .SPD files.
OK, I guess SPD files are 555 format but it's not clear ...

One thing - bundled with it is a CD-ROM "Creative Sampler Sound Library".

I haven't got my SP-555 yet but I'm reading the literature and am a bit confused already...
If I use a USB connection, do I still have to use the compact flash mechanism to convert formats ?
I would expect to be able to import/export wav files via USB-computer link with any necessary format ...
