fatlez did u get it to work? im in the same situation, except im using a mpc500

I want to sample into the sp404 apply fx etc. then use the mpc as a sequencer and trigger the sounds from the 404 on the mpc. I've read both instruction books and did everything they said but its not working. Can someone please tell me how to fix this? thank you

I dont want to have the internal sounds...i want to import samples from my CF card...im at work so i dnt have the manual ill try initializeing the internal memory when i get home

Yea i reformatted my card and i also just got a new 1gb card and still nothing

Ok ....I've deleted all the samples on my 404 including the stock sounds When I go to import samples from my CF card the screen displays FUL. This happens to me every once in while but Im usually able to put the samples on at a later time, however its been a few weeks now and im still not able to ...

Ok..so i want to be able to control and record the samples in my 404 on the mpc500. I know people control their 404 with their 1k's. I want the pads on my mpc to trigger the sounds in my 404. I've read the threads on numerous forums but i cant get it to work.

I had the sp 404 for a lil more than a year and havent used it as much i want to! i was wondering if sum1 can post a sample and we can all attemp to flip it with only the 404 , that way we can tell each other how to improve our beats and all get better at using the 404.
