Thanks Drew! ill check that out, the bpm kind of varies because im playing the beat live each time and then the recorded beat sets the bpm for anything that gets recorded over the top.

hey guys ive read through the manual and i cant seem to do what i want to do with the 404.

I want to play a beat from my mpc into the 404 and have it record what ive played into a pad and keep looping while i add new layers and sounds to other pads. But the 404 doesnt seem to make a seamless loop ...
