No thats not what he means. The open battles are ones where any kind of equipment can be used. Last one done was the Mortal Kombat tournament. I had seen somewhere on the board that Wax Inspector is supposed to be setting the next one up im pretty sure sometime in April. Something to do with a acapella stax collection I believe.

i dont have an sp right now and want some inspiration right now.. getting ripped off put me in a slump... i normally dont hang out in the arena but i would like to do some open challenge stuff now..

... and it was the stax single collection, no acapellas... still dope though!
haven't heard anything from our 'sponsor' yet... so the option to win a shirt might be history...
for now all i can say is go on!pick a sample and have a nice battle...

I haven't any gear at the moment except my SP and mixer..
Finally get my xiosynth this week though so I'm down for someone to start a new one in a day or 2!
