help 202 volume knob

so my sp 202s volume knob is malfuctioning, it stays at the same volume no matter where you move it. anyone got a clue how to remedy this?

opened it up but really dont want to mess it up anymore.

so the knob turns but the volume doesn't change? hm.

i would recommend doing a system re-set and see if it fixes it.

otherwise you may be stuck w/ it that way. i have a DR-202 (same machine, but nonsampling) with a similar-ish prob. w/ no solution. the boss / roland stuff from that time period was a lil more sketch.
