Akai miniak

Good evening, I have just bought an akai miniak from thomann.de.
The problem is that i cannot hear anything when i press the keys. Screen and leds work fine when i turn it on but all i can hear is a buzz (it's not a sine patch, i know that
), nothing comes out when i press the keys.
I have tried several types of headphones but nothing. Any ideas?
The unit has just arrived today, no damage seems to have occured. I believe it has to do with the audio output but i'm not sure.
The funny part is that this is actually my first original unit (ie bought new), everything else is my kit is second-hand and i never had a problem, not even a broken knob or anything.
