hey people!
i've been using the 555 a lotttt ! literally non-stop for like 2 months, like every minute of the day.. i'm in love with this thing! it's incredible!
so i've been banging on the pads quite intensively.. and i've noticed recently that my number 6 pad stays down sometimes after releasing it ..if you see what i mean..
so i was wondering
how fragile are these pads? can i bang on them forever? obviously not but has anybody experienced like pad failures and stuff?
should i get myself an MPD or a triggerfinger and smash the hell out of those, to preserve my sp pads ?
and do replacement pads for the sp-555 exist? (i couldn't find any but I know roland does some for the 404
)
