V-Link = MIDI

Hi guys, I don't remember seeing too many topics covering this particular subject but maybe someone has messed with this stuff already and has more information to share.
Anyway, while the SP-555 is not that great as a controller it might have a bit more under the hood than what the manual says. After reading korakios' topic on the 606 forum I installed a MIDI translator and tried to see what came up.
Using the V-Link function the D-Beam, the 3 control knobs and the 16 pads send MIDI messages, so that's 20 x 2: Channel A and B send different stuff, channel C didn't seem to do much apparently... wait, I think the D-Beam did, so that's 20 x 2... + 1... + 3 (the control knobs already send CC data when the V-Link is off).
So, maybe it's not all that great, but it might be a good workaround for having more controllers to use and stuff.
