I like that sample and the drums sound like you played them live, I think all it needs is variation in the drum pattern.

thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm gonna bury the hihats in the mix or replace them, and try to make the beat switch up at some point.
the drums sound like you played them live
thanks man, I didnt quantize them and i dont have midi sync on my track recorder so they got shuffled around a little.

Very nice and very live-sounding. "fixing" the hats may be as simple as compressing them with the rest of the drums or slapping a bit of 'verb on them. I say "fixing" because I like them the way they are
