Awesome dude!!! I really like those turntables and that mixer its pretty solid to from what I have check about it and just to let you know im getting my SP 404sx hopefully this week!

i just picked up a mini-KP (the fx processor) for rockin' live / jam stuff with the mpc. a little smaller and less precious than using my 404 for this.

good lil box. lots o' fun.

yeah cool i got one to but i used it 2 times or some like that, i really have to grab it again!

i just like 10 minutes ago got the akai s900...im goingto first try it out in conjunction with the mpc, and the ill try the 404 with it hehe. so stoked! gotta learn it though and i hear it takes awhile. ill post a pic soon...

I just bought a zoom sampletrak on ebay for $100!

Just picked up a BOSS DE-200 delay rack unit on bay for $30. It's 12-bit digital from 1983. FUCK YES! It's got a hold function and trigger sync, so it can sync with Roland drum machines. Hooked up the sync to the rim/trig of my TR-707 and the actual delay to my 404. Got some really cool sounds, tempo synced delay with 16 step sequencing/gating.

Next piece of gear: my first rack compressor

Yard Sale, $2. Works, needs some switches cleaned/replaced. Features mods for remote trigger of kick and snare, plus dinosaur stickers.

Damn that is quite a deal. Did they think it was a broken VCR or something?

I KNOW. It was sitting next to a VCR, actually. I played dumb and said "How much for this goofy old thing?"

The guy said "A friend of mine gave me that. I don't even know what it is. Two dollars." I have literally had dreams about scores like this happening.

I walked it to a guitar shop (2 blocks away) and told them what happened, rec'd a high-five, and we plugged it in and it worked.

Some buttons don't trigger correctly. Cleaning the trigger buttons this weekend. All the EPROMS are good, as the sounds all trigger via MIDI. It's had the kickdrum chip replaced with a Linn sound. Also, some jacks on the front are wired to the kick and snare buttons; it must have been rigged up to trigger something externally.

Gonna do a little blog post on this in the coming weeks, will post a link here w/ more photos.
