Hybrid Live Performance with SP-555, Guitar, Vox, Keys

Does anyone have any good tips re performing live with the SP-555 as serving as "groovebox"??
I'm hoping to use it in live performance with live guitar, vocals and keys. Only two of us in the "band" so we'd like to know what techniques are best? We've produced everything in a DAW (Cubase) and I was thinking the solution is to export indivdual tracks (bassline, drums, percussion) to sp-555. Manual triggering of backing tracks is tricky to get in time, using patterns doesn't seem kind to longer sample (like a 2 bars long beat) and cannot use efx on patterns(??)
Do want to use SP-555 live for fx, don't want to use pc, don't want to use CD - the whole excitement is interacting with the SP-555 AND our instruments.
Can anyone suggest and good techniques or workflow best practices??
Thank you in advance for your kindness
