Was hoping to do a Street Fighter Challenge but I couldn't find the samples, so I'm gonna have to sit on that. Nonetheless I got sick sick sample that can be taken in many diff directions..

Deodato - Pavane for a Dead Princess

Do whatever you want with the sample. Open Challenge -> anything is fair game. Outside Drums, bass, samples, vocals, scratching whatever u want maayyne.

Gonna aim for the polls to be up by the 21st. You can request an extension if needed. We'll see how it goes.

Let's see some shit!

Ah, nice!

Before having a crack at using this track I thought it'd be a good idea to find the score of this to find out tempo (its 54bpm or thereabouts), signature (its in 4/4, easy) & key/scale... This is where it gets hard, can anyone read this?

Trying to identify what scale it's in and where the key changes isn't going well. I think its G major 7th, but I'm a bass player mostly (everything sounds like a G major or minor 7th to me). Or if anyone knows where a tabbed version of this can be found then they're a legend.

The key of the song is G major / E minor. This means that the notes are:

A B C D E F# G

About the chord changes...
The little letters over the lines usually represent the chord changes.

Heh, thought so. They must've cheaped out at the printers & asked for the no-chord-change version or the song. Couldn't see any of those on any decent sheet version of this song.

That or doesn't have any changes...

Looks like its off to the theory books on this one

Thanks!
