Sp404sx SD card ?

I bought an SDHC 8GB HD card by OPTIMA today along with an adapter, the adapter worked and I was able to transfer my WAV samples to my SP404sx on the Roland card that came with it , the new card I purchased does not work ? When I open the WAV converter to import samples it says this type of file is not supported for SP 404 sx? What card do I need ?

It actually says The selected drive is not for the SP404sx

Selbst Ist der Mann, so why not find out that you have to format the new card on the SP-404SX first, by reading the manual?
Oh, and this thread really belongs into the SP-404(SX) Tips'n'Tricks section.

Ahh thank you , I see now it works, it didnt say you must format to make new Sd card work, not that I have read, many thank you's :]

alright i formatted my sd card and have been using it frequently with the 404sx. Now however, the fucking thing is saying "the selected drive is not for the sp404-sx" bullshit. Has anyone had this problem?

jables, I'm currently having this problem. Formatted my new 8gb sd card for the 404 sx and still won't let me transfer samples & says selected drive isn't for the sp 404sx, etc... any luck ?
