Heya guys! I'm new here although I've been lurking around since I bought my 404 a long time ago. Now I bought myself this 555 beauty as well so I decided to register.

Ok enough with the blabbering, I was wondering if it's somehow possible to block the 555 from applying the effect onto the sound that is coming from the computer? I want to apply the effect into the sound that is coming from the line-in but leave the sound from the computer un-altered.

man i still havent figured that out, i know what you talkin about too. like if you want your pads effected and your playing a midi keyboard from the computer it adds effects to everything. you might wanna take a look at the manual again, i remember a section that had something to do with the "ins and outs" of the usb recording. im just lazy so i didnt get the book out. i say whatevers in your computer, sample it to a pad unless you rplaying like instrumentation then its a pain in the ass.
