hey there,
so hopefully this upload worked and all that. let me know, and if this did NOT work i'll find another way to do it.
okay! i donno if you cats will dig this or not - heh heh - this is a track called "blues for a highstrung guitar" by the John Handy Quintet. it's from the 2nd album, and was released in (i fink) 1966.
i can let you know who the musicians are if you want (lemme know if you do). its about 6 minutes long, but i think there's a lot of fun stuff to chop in there.
here's the pitch:

let me know if this worx and what y'all think. if we go with TWO WEEX for a deadline, final pieces are due on October 9th (ie: 2 weex from tomorrow).

I really don't like this kind of stuff but hey that's what remixing is for. I'm cool with it. The download works fine, now I destroy The John Handy Quintet.

good job on the sound pick. this is my favorite so far i think. non annoying music and lots of easily choppable parts. good sound quality too.

I can't download this until later this week, but count me in for this battle.

cool sample. so i guesse no breakbeat allowed, drums are gonna be hard to get- they seem kinda buried, good I'm ready for that challenge.

I'M READY

aight I'm finished. getting drums was pretty simple, but I had a lot of trouble flipping the sample. i thought an ill sample like this would be easy. I'm gonna try an post it up tonight
