303/606 beats

Post by Sinapse »

Peace to the SP Forums!

Lots of great sounds around here. I shared some of my work as an emcee here...most of the producers i worked/work with use SP samplers so I have been a fan of what the machines can do for a long time...you can check my emcee work at http://www.myspace.com/sinapsemc (Not the topic of this post)

I am not here to plug me emcee work tho, lol...I started producing myself a few months back...dove in head first, started off with a 606 and since I picked a 303...basically I'm using the 303 as a sampler, recording/chopping/sequencing my patterns and using the 606 to play the drum and bass tracks, I record and mix the beats down with a BR900 then sometimes I run the entire final beats thru the 606 for real time efx...still learning a lot about all aspects of producing so check out the joints and leave some thoughts/advice...I have a separate page for the beats http://www.myspace.com/sincezanne

Peace

Peace Elhuana! Thanks for peeping the beats...we'll see how good of a trio it turns out to be hahah something new that I'm enjoying a lot more than I expected, production is really fun

ellaguru, thanks for peeping the music! Most of the joints on the emcee page are produced by Complex Realmz and "The Only Way" is produced by Varan, who I think people around here may be familiar with. I also do a lot of work with 12welve who is an SP user.

Thanks again for taking the time fellas.

Peace
