my computer can't read my brand new sdhc card -WTF??

Hello. i just bought a new 32gb sdhc for my 404sx. I formatted it on the 404, no problem. then i put it into my card reader(hp printer) and the prompt says it doesn't recognize this card. What UP?? Does the sdhc have to be formatted by my Mac first to read it? How can i do this? please help out.

well my Roland friends, i researched my dilemma and it seems i need a sdhc reader! new technology!!

I'm glad you've figured it out, but printer card readers are only suited for image files and most of the time, they're picky at that too. Peace.
(next time, make sure to post it in the SP-404SX area of the forums, you're much likely to get a reply there.
