Delay question

i received the 202 today, so i'm trying it.
anyone knows why the delay fx doesn't continue after a sample is stopped? i couldn't make working this....

ive read the manual: when the sample stops the delay stops. simply the delay sucks.

Couldn't you add some extra silence at the end of the sample to keep the delay going?

i will try with this trick, but i haven't a smartmedia so it will pick me many space...
it's however strange this delay. it repeats the sound only one time...

i tried it.
the sound is "delayed" only one time...not good for me...you can't dub with the 202
