Alright, I think it's poll time!! Because of the holiday season I'm not so sure how long I should run this poll, so for now it will be endless.

Its quite close, i like both songs, Phemox for his peter gabrielesque song, and |||||s darker, roland space echo treated tune. But as far as drums go, i find them both kind of dull, in terms of sound and programming. ||||| has got some glitches in his beat, on purpose or not hard to say, but it makes me vote in favor of Phemox

i like phemox's as well. think more people should participate in this next time!

Thanks a lot. I had a hard time choosing here, I definitely liked both beats a lot. (I'm obviously not voting for myself. )

Hopefully when summer holidays are over, more people can enter in these side battles?

Oh, by the way, something I had wondered, what equipment or software did you guys use as this was 'open' to more than just the SP. I used my MV and also my guitar to record a riff that I reversed and looped. Other than that it's mainly made with internal samples and some patches of my own.

just the samples thru my sp-606. im just using the battles to get familiar with the features.
