Quick Question about the SP-555.

Can a sample one shot like a piano be mapped across the 16 pads and played like a keyboard?
If not is there a workaround for this?

Nope, the closest thing to a workaround is using the USB to sync it with software and do it that way..which works pretty well if you mind being tied to a computer to get that done.
