i went to guitar center the other day and asked about cdjs, the guy wasnt sure if i wanted cd turntables or cdjs, i wasnt aware there was a difference...?

if i wanted to write my music, the burn it to a cd, and then dj it, and treat the turntable just like a standard vinyl deck...what do i need?

im sure its more time consuming and more expensive to "burn" the mp3 to a record and dj it that way right? ive never really looked into that...

also, im not sure this was the best place to post this or not, so if not im sorry.
thanks for any feedback!

A CDJ is a specific brand of cd turntable..
there's other ones made by different people.

Having said that ... get CDJs. Dont get anything other than actual pioneer CDJs.
It's the standard in every club on earth.

If you wanna scratch you need to get either 400s, 800s, or 1000s.

By the way, if you just want to be able to scratch CDs as well, maybe a hybrid turntable is something for you?

Like the US Blaster 7329.

The site is dutch, but you'll get the picture;
