my initial guess on the price was 595.95... off by 2 cents :) I called Roland and they said they are shooting for an october release ! OoH The pain of waiting :(

oh wow, so that means its gonna be around 800-900 in aus. Thats abit much right now, but the unit does look pretty great after some initial dissapointment.

yeah j daniels gonna be too much if you ask me over here. .. there's just not enough difference between it and the 404 IMO

Yeah, like it looks great but i dont need it or any of those functions. I bought an MPD24 which i also use with the 404, and i use this amazing looper in digital performer 5 which is basically the same thing but much more advanced.

Although if i was in the market for my first sampler/sequencer i would investigate the 555 for sure. (i wish it was out when i was scouting for my first sampler)

Vivi, if you know anyone with family in Miami ( I know we have alot of Argentenians here) you can have em buy it for you and bring it when they visit... its cheap here !

-Yea now I'm all sad cause I want the D-beam and usb port...weak. The 404 will do.

One thing that I do not understand is :
they got USB port,

so..

why the hell don't they bring people a simple audio software that do autochop and timestretch...and other useful shit directly on the machine ?

With efficient and skilled coders, the development time would be really short.

The release/shipping date off of Harmony-central .com says Aug. 27

So now I need some help I was looking at getting the Sp606 is the Sp555 better or not?
