Yeah.. Where do I post it at, right here? I was listening to the Sp battle and my shit sucks.I spent too much time extracting every single drum part them recontructing my drum kit. Anyways... The point is I've learned alot this weekend.. so where do I post..

Took longer than expected and didn't finish it, but perhaps I will finish it later. The sample was mad difficult though, I mean ... it was somewhat too fast and somewhat too high pitched, meaning you'd basically had to cripple it hard before at least I was able to do anything good with it.

My beat is a bit weak, but who gives.. it's all for practice anyway.

edit: Seems I've screwed up on the mixdown muting one track and touched the MFX a bit. Damn, I'll fix it later.

PHeMoX that steel drum style sound you managed to produce is nice. Did you squeeze that out of the sample or from the internal synth?

Yo guys, I'm sorry but my weekend was totally fucked up- so much shit to do I couldn't even play with my mv... I got the beat somewhere half-way through though. I will TRY to get it done and uploaded tonight, in the worst case tomorrow. Just too much shit on my plate right now.

I believe it was a tiny part of the sample, quite high pitched if I recall correctly. I just messed a lot of with resampling using FX like center canceler, guitar multi FX and the Isolator / Filter. I had some difficulties getting the volume right though, for it to sound nice it needs a filter applied, but it always ruins the volume.

It has been a good learning experience for me though.

Nah, lets wait for a minute longer... there should be some more people out there who were working on something I think.

I don't know if they're still going to post their beats though, most MV users tend to be lurkers hahaha, so speak up if you've got a beat you're about to post, just so we know.

Arrgg... man it's all going down for me... I can visit these forums from work but I don't have any spare time at home so I cannot promise anything. Damn I feel so sorry that I'm going to let you all down, but whatever the outcome, do your thing. If I manage to finish the beat until Friday I'm in if not just put the voting on without me. Might as well join the next battle..

Anyways I am currently on a project that you all will definitely enjoy, but that's a secret right now... so no more talking.
