hi! i bought a sp, im glad to use it, but, i´ve a question....
how can i do to "shoot" the pad 2 in a correctly quantization?i mean to have a sense to "press" the pad 2 wich is a snare and goes correctly with the kick? ´cause when a press the pad 2 it sounds inmediatly when i do it....
thanks
sorry with my cavern-english....

you can use the roll function to slap the notes on time .

it sounds like you need to mark/set the start and end of your snare sound
or you can always use the quantize of the pattern sequencer then record that with loop recorder and save it to a pad.

NO! hahahaha, goshhh cant explain right?lol
ok, what i have its: a kick in pad1 and a lead sound in pad 2 for example. what i NEED its to play with this pads, just playing with them, i tried in Sampling mode, but its difficult to press the pad exact Exactly in the exact moment ´cause in 4 bars this will be a crazy stuff.
So i recorded a pattern and best thing that i did its to recorded in pattern 1 the kick and pattern 2 the lead sound, then i press pattern 1 and sounds, ok, with the loop, perfect, perfect, and the 2 equal,i quantized (shuffle quantize 8 and rate 100%) but then when i press the pattern 2 the 1´s stops and begin with this new one. What i need its both sounding! understand me? if i use sample mode i can only shoot pads in the moment that my fingers are touching it.
Like..... Ableton Live¿?¿?¿?¿?¿?¿ click one sound and begin in 4 bars for example
i want to playyyy and i cant!
Thanks sooooo much

Dude you can only play 1 pattern at a time. Record it all in the same pattern.

make an intermediate pattern with the leads into the second pattern, so you can play and loop the one on pad one for as long as you want, then have the new one be the same as 1, but at the end use whatever overlayin pieces you want at the end of the pattern, so you can play that intermediate pattern once and then go onto the original second one and they sound overlapped......there are definitely a ton of work arounds here, just think about how you can achieve it
EDIT: i don't think you are even tryin to do somethin complicated like that, i just think you want to have different parts of your beat on different pads, so you can track mute that melody if you want....not possible, you can work it out so that you have the melodies and drum loops you want on different pads in sampling mode (not pattern mode) by using resampling (or ripping a pattern out and back into a pad), all ready to loop, and just turn on and off what ones you want when you want too, or make multiple patterns that take into account all the drops and part mutes you want, work arounds are everywhere
