I love my 555 more and more

Today I used it for trasmitting and receiving sysex data (patch exchange)
from my Waldorf microwave XT. It went flawlessly and I just can't stop singing in superlatives about this rectangular machine with aluminium plate on it.

This USB MIDI interface works really good for me!

...and here is another reason for celebration... X-mas is too far to wait

Hi there,

I'm new here - hello everyone

Well, I haven't tried to use my 555 as a MIDI controller or soundcard yet, I'm still waiting for my CF card so maybe I'll post more soon on the topic. By the way I like this machine. It's not my favorite gear (I prefer Korg ESX-1), but working with samples is flawless and 555 rules as for effects (better than ESX-1 I think). I found it difficult to synchronise via MIDI with my Korg, but this machine is not pattern and sequencer-oriented, rather funny sampler player. I mean editing pattern is wak. D-beam works perfect - I'm going to sample it many times after assigning some effects. The sound quality is better via XLR than Line In, but it's normal.

Hehe, Wecome on board :)

It's always nice to see the real homie out here.
I think the last one I saw was wingz but he sold his sp.
Since then Im the only one Pole here :)

I hope that someday 555 will become your favourite gear!

Man, I guarantee that you'll forget about ableton pretty fast :)
Also, my next aim is to buy 555 so we'll be able to "explore" it together :)

Cool!
pozdrawki duder :)

I've gigged with avant-jazz musicians recently using my sp-555 live and I must insist on implementing fading out as for pads... Loop-capture is awesome if you can control it :o

by the way: it's good shit...
