SP-555 w/ Alesis Micron MIDI

Hey I'm using my Micron to trigger the pads on the 555 with MIDI, but locating them on the keyboard is really confusing. I'm using the octave to scroll through the pad banks, but once I get to bank "F" it becomes really difficult to find the samples.
I have a 505 and all I did was put the pattern bank on the micron at the same number as the pad bank I wanted to play on the 505 and it would just play the pads in that bank. Does any one know how to get the 555 to function on the same way?
