zzzzzzzz....
This SP555 V1.04 made the most unbelievable upgrades of any firmware in the history of mankind:
1.MIDI is now Assignable to pads and not fixed. You can assign any MIDI to any pad.
2.Pads transition with a tap. You can change from one pad to another while its on loop mode. Just one finger and one pad to go to the other pad anytime time you want, like the FANTOM series.
3.More Synth Sounds. More Synth on D-Beam. You can even customize your D-Beam Synth sound.
4.Loop recording time increased from 12 seconds to 16 seconds. For stage performers you have been prized with additional 4 seconds to record your loops. You have 16 seconds to record your loops...you can stop spoiling your songs now.
zzzzzzzzz!
OOOOps then I just woke up. It was just a dream. Do you ever dream that Roland has upgraded the SP555 with some features that it is lacking? All the features that I said above are software issue and not hardware.
But Roland is busy on their giant Junos and Fantoms and GW Workstations. No time for our beloved tiny excommunicated SP555...sight!
Thanks for enjoying my dream.
Taj.
