ROTH: Always love your entries. Great texture, mood, atmosphere, structure and use of Fx. Sounds like the same samples caught our ear with that piano part. It took a while for me to mentally sync up woith the drums at the start, I think it's the time signature that threw me and I like how you changed it halfway through.
OM Audio: Nice texture, use of fx (filter?) I liked what you did with the echo on the drums towards the end and th big crescendo finish.
SleepyNUmb: Nice to hear a different approach. A lot more gritty. Liked the bass stabs and how you used the samples for the melody in the background throughout.
ROR: Nice lofi, glitchyness. Like the squelchy bassline.
It feels like there's 2 camps here: the atmospheric and the bitcrushed lofi.
Went with ROTH. Hopefully more entries in the next round.

might help to get more votes if "poll" is in title
anyone reading and curious- you do not have to enter to vote (right?)

Hey you know what it does say poll when you look at the post I didn't see that before. Also I am starting a thread asking about how people approach a battle.
***** really odd sometimes the post shows poll and sometimes not!

Tough call but voted Sleepy. Would've preferred no acapella but I liked the Burial-ish drums and "broken tape player over the PA in an asylum" vibe of the other samples.

Yeah, 3/4 at first, altho the drums are a little off as I'm always reluctant to risk using the time stretch on the 303, lest it adds evil clicks.

Took me like 10 listens each, 4 days, and 3 different headphones, but ultimately had to give it to the Jordan of of the SPBB 370s ROTH.
Back later with full on breakdowns and enough different colors to make that dude in Asha’s beat seizure.
