SPBB 329 POLL

Awesome round y'all, gonna set this poll up for Antee since he had a bit too much fun last couple of nights as it seems :D

You know the drill, vote for your fav beat, leave a comment
Five days poll I guess should be enough

with so many entries I'd propose a two-vote system, as in vote for your two fav beats (pro'lly would've made things a bit more ehm dramatic hah) but since I never confirmed it with Antee, gonna keep it reg

EDIT : it's going to be two votes per beat after all, so be sure to vote for two of your favourite beats!
If you really really feel someone stood up above the rest, give that person two votes, it's all good !

Peace !

Well I intended to vote LoopmantrA and ryba since you suggested two votes, but it won't let me place another vote after placing the first so you'll just have to go by my written vote here.

Voted LoopmantrA because it worked as a track in its own right, as in the work on the samples and the feel of the finished track went together really well. Loved the Japanese Horror visuals too (although that had no influence on my vote).

Voted for ryba because I liked the beat and for me it's always nice to hear a fair amount of the original sample as well, which in this case was nicely brought in and faded back out to.

Congrats to all, I thought it was a nice battle with a lot of cool entires, oh, and the 'boom' of TGN's entry almost blew my freaking head off which sadly spoiled his entry for me - felt like I had my head trapped in a giant vibrating metal drum - cool track though bro!

Yo thanks for the kind words brother!
Tbh I kinda hate the drums, wanted to make it real push-pull staccato type, but I kinda fckd it up eih
But I dig these samples for real, gonna work on it more

Wasn't going to opt for two-votes since I never confirmed it with Antee, but the more I think about it, the more it feels right.
Me personally can't really decide on only one beat, though I never really could..

Gonna go with it, just edited the poll so two votes can be casted, be sure to put one more down for ryba when you find the time, or we can count it in the end as +1 I think either is fine :)

I just tried but something weird has happened to the formatting of the Poll, it's all messed-up and there is no voting selector button!

I think you broke it homie

I voted for LoopmantrA as my first pick and Selga as my second.

Love the dark atmosphere of LoopmantrA's track, using only the djfx on the drums was really smart, the drums are chaotic and ever changing contrasting with the constant loop. A good scary beat in my opinion

OKEAN203 track has great chops and I like what he did with the drum break, not only the way he used it but how he processed them and changed their tone making them darker.

Loop, you'll just have to add my other vote manually when you do the final count. I don't know what's up, but I've attached a screenshot to show what's happening. The formatting is messed up, and although I can see a cross indicating my vote for yours, I can't add another for ryba cause I don't see anything to click on.

Weird, maybe it's because I placed a vote before you changed the amount :?

Antee @ Loop get my votes here..these two were the hardest to separate for myself so cool we can have a couple of votes for this battle.

Nice stuff once again from all involved fellas ..:)

So hard to decide....

like ellaguru's drums, especially the snare hits me hard

feeling antee's vibe...so deep and i love his clean mix and the snare too

ryba's beat is great, too...like the delay and the gated sample

before-23 did a dope work, i like how he worked out the sample(s) sounds very epic

selga is outstanding for his great unique groove

but my vote goes to the wayward pressman because of his groovy drums and his focus on the trumpets and brasses, this beat makes me headbanging and i love its given happyness

I apreciate it when warriors give their own voice to other combatants. sometimes you find the contribution of somebody else way better than your own ;) but my 2nd voice goes this time to myself for the dark atmosphere :)

Ryba and Antee for me.

Ryba because it sounded most like a completed track, nice variety of textures, chill beat, tasteful use of fx and effective use of many parts of the sample.

Antee because it went somewhere. Nice slow plodding groove to start off, then *gasp* chord changes! The horn melody takes over for the piano and everything really settles into place. Lyrical.

With hon. mention to Asha for hypnotic, bolero-like treatment of that same horn line.

waywardpressman and selga for me
good chops/work/sound (waywardpressman), above all for the surprsing second part variety (selga)

mentions for Antee (nice atmosphere) & TGN (very dark!)
